Auralis Associates is a privately held, federally incorporated journalism and media services firm. Since 2019, we have operated from our 120 m² office on Elgin Street, serving clients across Canada with integrity, transparency, and rigorous editorial standards.
Our Story
Auralis Associates was founded in 2019 by Sarah Mitchell, an investigative journalist with a deep conviction that independent media services should be accessible to organizations of all sizes. The firm started with a simple premise: that the same editorial rigour applied to major newsrooms could serve businesses, nonprofits, government agencies, and individuals who need credible, well-researched media work.
From our office at 287 Elgin Street, Suite 204, Ottawa, ON K2P 1L9, Canada, we have grown into a team of four dedicated professionals. Each member brings a distinct expertise - from investigative reporting and French-language content to research methodology and media relations training. Together, we cover the full lifecycle of journalism and media consulting, from initial research through to final production and delivery.
As a federal corporation (Auralis Associates Inc., Corporation No. 1284763-5), we are bound by the Canada Business Corporations Act and operate under strict professional and ethical guidelines. We are not affiliated with any media conglomerate, political party, or government body. This independence is not merely a marketing point - it is the structural foundation that allows us to produce trustworthy work.

Our Office
Our 120 m² workspace at 287 Elgin St., Suite 204, Ottawa, ON K2P 1L9 is designed for focused work and client meetings. The meeting room accommodates up to 8 people, suitable for training sessions, editorial reviews, and project discussions. We are located a 10-minute walk south from Parliament Hill along Elgin Street. Appointments can be scheduled Monday through Friday, Mon-Fri 9:00-17:00 EST.
